Lodge Common Areas

Great Room

The spacious Great Room of the Lodge has an open-beam-ceiling and a fantastic water view for both dining and lounging. Admire the peaceful lake while feasting on home cooked meals or cosy up to the fireplace in the evening for drinks and conversation.

Sunroom

Escape the heat, rain, and bugs while sitting outdoors in the Sunroom, accessible from both the Great Room and from directly outside. Nourish both your body and spirit as you dine in comfort while taking in the beauty of the lake and nearby spruce and aspens. Nothing is more enjoyable on a rainy day than curling up with a blanket and book on a lounge chaise to read and relax in the fresh crisp air.

Reading & Games Area

Overlooking the Great Room on the second level of the Lodge is an inviting space for reading and playing games. With many windows showcasing the wilderness and water views, cosy up with a book or magazine from our community bookshelf, or simply let your mind wander. Discover our library of reference books to identify local birds, wildflowers, plants, and berries while you visit. After a busy day, laugh late into the evening with friends and family around a game of cards, puzzle, or board game from our selection.

Drying Room

The Drying Room at the front entrance of the Lodge is specifically designed for hanging and drying clothing and equipment after your outdoor adventures. Take advantage of this space in the winter as the fireplace vents into this room, drying all of your wet gear so you can head outside again the next day. You can also find binoculars, bear bells, snowman-making kits and a first-aid kit here to borrow as you need.
